I searched on Logi support site and couldnt find the Brio stream only its friend the Brio Pro. I tried Logi Capture and no joy as well so gave up on them. I believe GHub is the latest and greatest so tried that, as Windows hello wasn’t working i checked firmware was up to date and it said it was so that was odd. So off i went and downloaded the Logi software and OMG there is so many logi tools it seems that do the similar job with Logi capture, Logi GHub, tune and camera settings. Then i got my Stream and thought great it looks like a Brio, yes the box is different and i have a free xsplit licence! Win Win! First i wanted a USB windows Hello camera and for some reason it didn’t work with Windows Hello □ nooooo, perhaps it was too good to be true. So i still brought the Stream Edition as it was cheaper of course □ i thought bargain! Windows Hello time or maybe not □ I noticed a comment on Amazon as well on the Stream page so i was warned! I also checked the Teams Certified device page and it lists the Brio 4K Webcam as certified and not specifically calling out the Pro or Stream so believe the Stream should be a certified device.ĭifferences between Logitech Brio Stream Edition & Pro webcam? from LogitechG The Stream seems to be more for the gamers and streamers. So perhaps a bit of marketing consumer vs business. So i had a read up online and found some posts stating the main differences between the Pro and the Stream Edition were the packaging is different (i can live with that), the Stream Edition included a 12 months licence premium XSplit licence (bonus) but they run different firmware although its believed the hardware is the same (Sound ok). Here’s what i saw on Amazon, as you can see the Stream was £111 vs at the time £199 so a good saving on the Stream. So i recently brought a Logitech Brio 4K Steam Edition from Amazon on a black Friday week deal and noticed this was a Logitech Brio Ultra HD Pro and a Logitech Brio Steam Edition, odd! i didn’t realise there was more than one Brio, I thought a Brio was a Brio!.
